Endocrine glands secrete hormones in the body. These ductless glands ensure that the hormone is secreted directly into the blood stream. Some of the other major endocrine glands are inclusive of Pineal gland, thyroid, thymus, pancreas, testes, and ovaries.
The hormones secreted by these organs are in microscopic amount which means excess amount of hormone is required to bring about a change in the body. The slightest of deficiency can cause major body troubles.
