About  Fluticasone Propionate

Fluticasone Propionate is an antihistamine used to treat seasonal allergies like hay fever, and chronic rhinitis and can be used for asthma. The active ingredient in Fluticasone Propionate is fluticasone furoate, synthetically produced corticosteroids, comparable to the steroids produced by the adrenal gland.

Fluticasone Propionate is in the form of a nasal spray; it helps to reduce the symptoms of seasonal allergies like sneezing, red, itchy, or watery eyes, and stuffy, runny, or itchy nose. Fluticasone Propionate is prescribed for adults and children over 4 years of age. Fluticasone Propionate takes at least 8-24 hours to take full effect.

Fluticasone Propionate is prescribed to treat allergies, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Fluticasone Propionate is available in the following brands manufactured by the following pharmaceutical companies: Flohale, Flixonase, Flomist, and Furamist are manufactured by Cipla, Flomist is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, and Flixotide is manufactured by GSK France.
