Drug Interactions

    How to use
    Take Champix as prescribed by your doctor. You should not stop taking it or change the dosage without your doctor's approval. Take for the entire time prescribed by your doctor even if your symptoms have subsided or have disappeared.

    Champix should always be taken with a full glass of water with food. Once you begin taking your prescription of Champix, you will start by taking a low dose. You will slowly increase the dose for the first seven days. It is generally recommended that treatment with Champix be taken for 3 months (12 weeks).

    Your dosage will be based on factors that are unique to you but the usually dosage schedule is as follows: one 0.5 mg white tablet in the morning for the first three days; then one 0.5 mg white tablet in the morning and evening for the next four days. Beginning on the eighth day one 1 mg blue tablet is taken in the morning and in the evening until the end of treatment, usually 12 weeks after beginning treatment.
